Summer 2025
We will be enrolling in early 2025 for the 2025 summer program. Please contact Jessica to add your child’s name to the waitlist or to be added to enrollment mail list for future enrollment opportunities.
Each day is full of movement and outdoor play in a rich, living forest and farm ecosystem. Exactly what a Vermont summer day should be everyday!
Our summer program is staffed by the experienced and credentialed early childhood professionals that make up our unparalleled school year program. This is not just day care or camp. This is forest school. Our summer learning experience is rich with joyful, age appropriate learning opportunities. We have small group sizes, high adult to child ratios, and lots of supervision and direction in our social interactions to ensure a safe and positive social environment. Children will visit the town forest regularly and will have lots of opportunities to interact with the large vegetable garden, small fruit orchard, beehive (from afar), worm composter and the chickens and pets on site at school. On hot days children will have wading opportunities in the east branch of the Battenkill river in the town forest, and we will have regular opportunities to investigate the pond and wetland ecosystem on the school site.
As with our school year program, each day will be filled with story, song, stem activities and art projects inspired by what we are immediately seeing and experiencing in the world around us. And there will always be lots of room for play and exploration.
The vibrancy of summer will be fully experienced and enjoyed every day!
Come join us.
